Benefits of the MasterCard Debit Card with Sherwood Community Bank
- Access up to $700 cash a day at the ATM.
- Spend up to $1000 a day using your card for in store or online purchases.
- Choose to withdrawal cash at the ATM from either your checking or savings account.
- The amount of your purchase is automatically debited from your checking account.
- Download Shazam brella to receive customized alerts when your debit card is used.
- Automatically set up with FALCON, fraud protection software.
Card Activation
- Activate at ATM using the four digit PIN you were issued.
- Call Shazam at 866-590-4793.
Lost or Stolen Card
- If you think your debit card has been lost or stolen, please contact your local branch during regular business hours.
- After hours, call Shazam at 800-383-8000 to report your card lost or stolen.
- If you think you may have misplaced your card, a temporary block can be issued. If the card is found, the block can be removed. If the card is lost, a new card must be ordered.

(Opens in a new Window)FALCON(Opens in a new Window) is a fraud prevention software that helps identify and reduce fraud risk by detecting potentially fraudulent transactions.FALCON(Opens in a new Window) scores transactions based on transaction date and the cardholder’s profile factors. A Shazam Fraud Specialist will call you if any suspicious activity is detected on your account. They will identify themselves as Shazam, calling on behalf of Sherwood Community Bank. If they are unable to reach you, a message will be left with their contact information. They will never ask for any personal information like account numbers, social security number or PIN/passwords.

Shazam brella has recently added a transaction control feature. This fast and simple security feature takes fraud safety up a notch. With the quick tap of a button you'll be able to block or unblock your card, without affecting previous transactions, if your card is stolen, goes missing or you just want to pause it while traveling. The features saves you the hassle associated with losing a card--simply block your card until you find it, then unblock it for instant use.
